The Corktown segment runs through one of Detroit’s oldest and most active neighborhoods, anchored by Michigan Central Station and the surrounding public space at Roosevelt Park.
Along the route, the greenway connects into Corktown’s walkable streets and the Michigan Avenue corridor—where restaurants, local businesses, and neighborhood destinations are clustered together. This stretch links downtown to southwest Detroit while offering a place to stop, explore, and spend time along the way.
