The Milwaukee Junction segment will serve as an important link between Detroit’s east side neighborhoods and the riverfront, expanding access to the greenway in a growing area of the city.

This segment will connect residential communities to larger destinations, creating new pathways for walking and biking while supporting future development along the corridor. As the greenway continues to take shape, Milwaukee Junction will play a key role in connecting residents to waterfront spaces and regional trail systems.
